The Montana Watercourse is a
statewide water education program that supports water resource
decision making and stewardship
by providing unbiased information, resources, tools and education
to all water users.We are housed on the MSU Campus
in Bozeman, Montana, and are an arm of the Montana
Water Center.
The Montana Watercourse supports your local efforts
through an array of resources, including:
- Co-sponsorship of water resource seminars, workshops and trainings
- Volunteer water monitoring
training for communities and schools Assistance with local water education program development Publications and
guides on water resource and watershed topics Teaching trunks filled
with interactive water resource activities
- Educator workshops,
training and tours using Project
WET and other curricula and materials

- River of Words Art and Poetry Display - The 2005-2006 Montana River of Words dsiplay is ready to share. The display features about 20 framed works of art and poetry from Montana students, and is appropriate for display in schools, museums, libraries, coffee shops and other public locations. Contact Kelly if you are interested in learning more about how River of Words helps connect students to their watersheds, or if you are interested in displaying these charming works of art in your area. ephemeral streams• 7,094 miles of ditches• 691,826 acres of lakes, reservoirs
