The Montana Watercourse is a statewide water education program. It was founded in 1989 as
a non-profit program and is housed at Montana State University as a part of the the Watercourse.
Our mission is to foster lifelong stewardship of Montana's water
by providing unbiased information, education, resources, and tools
to all water users. Our approach is neutral, inclusive and cooperative.
The Montana Watercourse offers presentations, workshops, training,
tours and publications. These services are available to anyone
but typically used by landowners and community members, educators,
local water oriented organizations and other water users.
Information and educational forums are provided on a variety of
water resource topics including: water management and conservation,
watersheds, water quality, water rights, wetlands and riparian
areas, ground water and aquatic life. |
